How much notice do I need to give to book a move?
We recommend giving at least 1–2 weeks’ notice for local moves and 2–4 weeks for long-distance. Last-minute moves are possible depending on availability—call us to check!
Do I need to empty my dresser drawers?
Light clothing and soft items can stay inside. Please remove anything fragile, heavy, or valuable for safe transport.

What moving services do you offer?
We provide local and long-distance moves, packing, junk removal, labor-only help, senior moving, and storage. Specialty services include piano and gun safe moving.
How are your prices calculated?
We charge a flat rate for the first 2 hours, which includes the truck, fuel, equipment, and professionally trained movers. If your move goes beyond 2 hours, we bill in 15-minute increments—so you’re only paying for the exact time used, no rounding up.
Do you move specialty items like pianos or safes?
Yes, Rambo 121 specializes in moving heavy and delicate items such as pianos and gun safes. We use specialized equipment and trained movers to ensure these items are transported safely without damaging your property or the item itself.
What if my move date changes—do you charge a rescheduling fee?
We understand that plans can change. If you need to reschedule, we ask for at least 72 hours’ notice to avoid losing your deposit. If the crew has already been dispatched, a $150 fee may apply. Just give us a call and we’ll work with you.
How long does a typical local move take?
Most local moves take between 3 to 6 hours, depending on the size of the home, the number of items, stairs, distance between locations, and how prepared everything is. Our trained team works efficiently to get you moved fast and safely.
What happens if something gets damaged during my move?
Rambo 121 takes great care with your belongings, but if something is accidentally damaged, we’ll follow our claims process immediately. Every move includes free basic valuation coverage, and we also offer upgraded coverage options for added protection.
Do I need to be present during the move?
Yes, we require someone 18 or older to be present at the start and end of the move to sign off on the paperwork, confirm what’s being moved, and handle any last-minute questions. This helps keep everything accurate and stress-free.
